Model limitations

The current direct-drive model excludes gearboxes, preload drag, seal friction, precise rotating-part geometry, manufacturer torque–speed curves, regeneration, brake sizing, coupling permissible speed, manufacturing tolerances, installation error, and many transient or abnormal loads.
